Involved steps for the Master Thesis are the following:
- The student agrees with a Professor or Researcher on the topic and the method of carrying out the thesis.
- The Professor or Researcher is responsible for guiding its preparation and reporting to the commission for the final examination.
- The thesis may start from the activities of a previous internship experience but must extend the topic consistently and meaningfully by adding original and extensive contributions.
- The thesis must be written in the English language.
- The thesis works are divided into two main categories:
a. Regular Thesis: characterized by the candidate’s applicative contribution, utilizing known methodologies and knowledge to address business and research problems.
i. Evaluation: The evaluation can be at most 5 points (i.e., it should always be at most 5.5 points, including any rounding).
b. Thesis of Greater Commitment: involve an original contribution from the student. This implies that the candidate must not only apply acquired and known knowledge and methodologies but also strive to make an individual contribution to achieve original results. For theses of greater commitment, the advisor must request the assignment of a co-advisor, whose role is to provide constructive criticism of the work, enabling a more objective evaluation.
i. Evaluation: The evaluation, however, cannot exceed 7 points (i.e., it should never exceed 7.5 points, including any rounding).
