Seminar “Fleet coordination of mobile robots in changing environment”, by Francesco Gallesi – E80 Group

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting at the Master’s in Digital Automation Engineering Francesco Gallesi, Engineer and PhD candidate in optimization working at E80 Group. E80 Group is an eminent company that designs and manufactures robots and automated industrial plants. Francesco shared several valuable insights on the dynamic optimization algorithms that are used by E80 to coordinate the missions of large fleets of Automated Guided Vehicles. The algorithms have been successfully deployed in various industrial plants globally, with relevant improvements in intralogistic performance.
