Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare
Medical robots and artificial intelligence are bringing a new era in medicine. In a context of global population growth and aging, as well as limited resources, robots and artificial intelligence can play an emerging role in healthcare systems.
In this talk, we will describe the potential of these technologies, but also the barriers to rapid widespread adoption. In particular, we will highlight Villa Verde’s experience in using CORI, the orthopaedic surgical robot by Smith&Nephew.
